"Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the Lord hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me. The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master’s crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.” (Isaiah 1:2-3)
I am amazed at the kindness and mercy of God.
He nourishes His people as children. That, in and of itself, is amazing.
But consider this,
Even after we rebel against Him...
Even after we act like we don’t know Him or acknowledge the fact that He indeed owns us...
Even after we forget that all our help and strength come from Him...
Even after we won’t even consider repenting…
God still calls us His people. He still cares for His children.
