Proverbs 11:18-19

18 “The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward.”
The wicked actively pursue deceit in the things they do. However, they don't realize they hurt themselves more than others in the end.
The elect who sow righteousness in their walk will reap joy! If they sow sparingly they will reap sparingly. If they sow abundantly, they will reap the abundant life!
19 “As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death.
Jesus taught this same message with his sermon on the two paths. The strait and narrow way leads to life and we live our eternal life starting now. The way of sin only leads to destruction and sorrow, no matter how pleasant it may seem at the time.
