"When a wicked man dieth, his expectation shall perish: and the hope of unjust men perisheth."
This parable is very straight forward. Whatever dream the wicked have in their heads about the afterlife, it is false. The only hope they have, if it can be called hope, is what they attempt to gain in this life. All the worldly things of this life are vain and empty.
