By The Mercies Of God

“By the mercies of God” (Romans 12:1-2)
Were it not for the grace and mercy of God we would not have the ability, much less the desire, to be all in for the Lord. An honest look at the nature of man without the grace of God shows that we seek our own desires and not the glory of God.
But thanks be to God, He does not leave His children in such a poor condition! By His marvelous grace, He raises us in newness of life so that we now CAN be all in for Him. And it is also by His continued mercy that we can draw strength through faith in Him in order to die to ourselves and live for Him each day.
