"Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all. The salutation of Paul with mine own hand, which is the token in every epistle: so I write. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen." (2nd Thessalonians 3:16-18)

Paul concludes this brief epistle with one of the most beautiful blessings of assurance!

While reminding us the God will be with us always, he tells us that we can have peace in our lives because the "Lord of peace himself" gives it!

When the angels told the shepherds, "Peace on earth," they were not hoping for peace between men or nations. They were declaring that Peace Himself was now on the earth, and that Jesus would MAKE peace between God and His children.

The Author of Peace gives peace in every aspect of life.

Dear brethren, the very stars of heaven can come crashing down around us but we can still have peace because Jesus Christ purchased it for us!
